J.T. Blancett – Chief Estimator / Field Sales Representative
J.T.’s responsibilities at Charles P. Crowley Company (CPC) include the management of project estimating and related functions, as well as performing outside sales in both municipal water/wastewater, and industrial/sanitary markets for San Bernardino County, CA, and Clark County, NV.
In-house, J.T. provides application engineering and system design assistance, and undertakes the preparation of proposals, budgetary estimates, review of material contracts, product submittal preparations, product procurement, troubleshooting, and commissioning of equipment. For his sales territories, J.T. services the needs of end-use customers, contractors, and consulting engineers.
J.T. has been engaged in inside applications engineering, outside sales, and service for the municipal water and wastewater treatment, petrochemical, power production, and general industry markets since 1988, when he began his tenure with CPC. Additionally, J.T. has worked as a contractor in the municipal water and wastewater industry building water and wastewater pump stations and lift stations. He has worked with larger general contractors on wastewater treatment plants as a project manager. J.T. has also worked in the sanitary bioprocess, personal care, and food and beverage markets as a general engineering and construction manager for a contracting representative firm, in addition to design/build process applications for these industries.
Fun Fact: J.T. plays in a band and his go-to is the drums. When J.T. is not creating beats, he’ll home-brew the occasional beer with his buddies, and cheer-on his favorite sports team, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
